Tre ristoranti greci

Questa volta, ho ordinato a domicilio piatti della cucina greca. Che amo non soltanto per il suo potere evocativo di spiagge e mari blu. Purtroppo, ho dovuto pescare in un bacino ristretto. Perché l’offerta milanese, già risicata in tempi normali, si è contratta ulteriormente. Due delle migliori insegne (Mykonos e Rebetiko), per esempio, non si prestano al delivery. La tripletta di questa settimana è stata comunque soddisfacente. Tre ordinazioni per ogni locale.

Vero sapore greco
Piatti ordinati:
Polpette di zucchine alla menta, 7,50 euro
Penirli vegetariano, 9,00 euro
Pita Suvlaki con Pollo, 8,50 euro

La specialità esclusiva della casa sono i penirli: barchette di pane integrale (o multi cereale). Quello con asparagi, formaggio e uovo non è niente male. Anche se arriva freddo. Le polpettine alla menta, invece, mi convincono a metà: sono morbide e gustose, ma lasciano in bocca un sapore di fritto un po’ greve, da stemperare con la salsetta allo yogurt. Sufficienza per il pita souvlaki, ripieno di pollo e patatine fritte. Anche qui un dettaglio che va storto: gli spiedini di pollo sono di consistenza ostica.

Crocchette Mix, 6.90 euro
Tzatziki della casa, 4,90 euro
Pita greca gyros pollo, 6,60 euro

Le cose migliori sono le 7 crocchette: una piccola antologia di discreti bocconcini fritti (al formaggio, alle melanzane, al pomodoro…) da accompagnare con una salsina fresca e acidula. A proposito di salsina, ordino “tzatziki della casa” immaginando un piattino a se stante, dato il prezzo (4,90 euro). Invece, si tratta di una mera coppetta di tzatziki. Che, per altro, avevo aggiunto anche alla pita con carne di pollo. Quest’ultima è più che dignitosa, ma si presenta malissimo. Con l’imbottitura debordante dal suo involto di pane, avvinta irrimediabilmente all’incarto. Va bene risparmiare sulle confezioni. Ma così si esagera.

Tagliere con salse della nostra tradizione culinaria, 12 euro (chissà perché lo chiamano tagliere…)

Siamo decisamente su un altro livello. Basta dare un’occhiata alla accuratezza delle scatolette di cartone leggero, sulle quali è scritto a mano il contenuto. Le salse, di consistenza sin troppo pettinata, sono, in realtà, cremine che sprigionano un superconcentrato di gusto: scordalia, taramosalata, tzatziki, crema di melanzane. E si accompagnano con frammenti di pita. La moussaka è esotica, e al tempo stesso domestica. Fondata su un meraviglioso ragù di manzo che profuma di alloro, vino e carote. Meno affascinanti le polpettine: devono aver sofferto un po’ il tragitto.
